Something a little different
I have not posted in almost two years, it just has not been a priority of my mine. A lot has happened since the last time I posted and I want my entries to have a bit more meaning to them. A friend of mine has a blog that I have been following. Her words have really touched me, inspired me, and challenged me. I think this time my post are going to be a little different than what they have been in the past. I can see them being more so like journal entries rather than just "family updates". Don't worry I will still share about the kids and post pictures of them...I am a proud momma so I can't avoid that. I am little nervous about approaching this as more of a journal because I know I will feel very vunerable sharing some things, especially when I know others are reading it. I do hope you will check my blog and please share your thoughts in the comments area!

Its Official!
...our home is officially OFF the market. Yes, we got an offer in one month and a pretty good one, however, we did not accept! That's right...I know...we're crazy...we're weirdos. After a lot of thought and prayer Greg and I decided it would be a better financial decision for our family to stay where we are at. It was a pretty stressful day, the day we had to make the final decision, but we are confident and we made the decision together as a team. So...maybe in two or three years we will re-evaluate and look into selling again. =)

Its Official!
...our home is up for sell! The sign is in the yard, the home repairs our finished, the house is as clean as it can get, and we are ready to get this done, I think.
Wow, Greg and I put the house up for sell with mixed emotions. On one hand we know it is a wise decision for our family considering finances, space, and location. On the other its hard to let go of our very first home together, the home where we started our little family, and the comfort...the familiarity.
There is a lot of work that goes into selling a home and preparing to buy another one but we are excited! We are looking forward to what God has for us even if it means staying here because our home won't sell (you never know in this economy).
Please join us in prayer that the house will sell quickly, the kids do okay with all the changes, we make wise decisions, and that Greg and I won't lose our minds! Pray that God will lead our steps and be our ultimate Counselor. Pray for the Lords perfect timing and that things go smoothly.
There are a lot of new things good and not so good going on in our lives right now. Its a challenge to balance all of it but I know with Christ no one and nothing is against us, anything is possible, and the desires of our heart will be filled.

Let me tell you a little about myself
Since my momma won't do it...let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Elyse and I just celebrated my one year birthday! It was a fun time had by all. I had two birthday parties, plenty of cake, lots of presents, and even got to wear a princess tiara! I'm pretty much the most beautiful baby you will ever see. I love to smile but most of all I love to eat. I am constantly eating and it has become very convenient that I now know sign language for "eat", "more", and "please". I not only walk (which I learned how to do at 10mos) but I climb on everything. Momma freaks out a bit but I think its fun. I love my doll, stuffies, and anything soft. I also really like clothes, I guess its a girl thing, because every morning when my momma is holding me while she looks in my closet I can't help but run my fingers through all my hanging clothes. Daddy and I are really close he is my favorite person to give kisses to. Don't say anything but I think Daddy would do pretty much anything I asked him to do. Even though everyone thinks my favorite person is mommy they are wrong...my favorite person in the whole world is my brother Isaac. We always play and despite a little fight here and there Isaac always takes good care of me and makes sure I'm okay. What can I say Life Is Good! I want you all to see more current pictures of me but momma isn't on the ball about downloading pictures. You think she would be with all the photos she takes! Maybe in another year she'll update again..heeheehee.

If anyone would like for Harley & Alison to take baby, family, or even wedding pictures for them please let me know and I'll pass on their information to you!
